LuckyFool Breaks the Avilo Curse at It's Gosu LAN #3

Don't know how Luckyfool is feeling now after finally beating avilo 2-0, but I'd think he's feeling pretty damn happy. I have to admit that Lucky's games have gotten better, even though avilo played with less patience than usual and made some major mistakes.

I can make lots of excuses as to why avilo lost in today's event, but I really do think he jinxed himself - No Hat - No Green - No Sleep - Little Practice - No Sassy - No Cyberground. (Learned the real reason he was jinxed. Sup Son?)

Most of the DC area LAN tournaments have quit CyberGround because they were being unfair and because it was small and "stinky," according to some of the players. They're using Netolic facilities in Annandale, VA. now. Avilo has attended two there, this one and the one sponsored by dcsc2, where he took second.

But this is about Lucky's win. He was to the point where he never thought he'd beat Avilo and tonight he was on a roll, even though he lost to HwangSin twice. The first game HwangSin dropped Lucky to the loser's bracket 2-0. But he faced him again for 1st place, after beating ices, avilo and wbc.

Of course, I wouldn't miss an It's Gosu LAN tournament, even if they do bring in their pros to take the win. Guess it's their money and they wanna keep it in the family. LOL! Actually, I said that in chat and Ayesee countered with, they bring in the pros because other players enjoy playing the pros. Guess I'll have to talk to the "other players." hehe

So even though Lucky lost to HwangSin in the finals 3-0, he came in second and can go home flying, because he beat avilo, who, unfortunately, went home in fourth.

The top three -

HwangSin - Protoss (ez) Gold
Luckyfool - Terran Silver
wbc - Protoss (ez) Bronze

Avilo - fourth - the only this he ended up taking home was his date, so the night wasn't a total loss - hopefully :D

Since I haven't been hanging around the SC community much, I have to say that I enjoyed seeing the It's Gosu group and chat was fun and funny as usual. Redmagejr and Ayesee are great casters. And Zyori, formerly from Hypercrew, sat in so Redmage could take a break. Ayesee doesn't get a break.

Fireminx, Redmage's gf was suppose to be there, but came down with the makins of a migraine - not fun. She popped up in chat though and she's as much fun as her lesser half. (kidding Redmage)

My3000Ride, was first to greet me and I just smiled from ear to ear. He's one of mods, who apparently reads my blogs, but never comments. *glares* Hey, as long as he lurks and laughs it's okay with me.

Orion was in chat too, but a very different Orion than when I first met him. Subdued in comparison. Now I'm worried.

It wasn't until much later that Voss showed up, but Minx and I had fun teasing him behind his back about George Clooney. Hey, Voss, didn't know you have a poster of him hanging over your bed. LOL

Mumbles, one of the other mods, tried giving oral instructions - and they weren't voice lessons; however me thinks he needs more practice. But it was pretty funny.

All in all, despite the fact that avilo was probably feeling pretty down after the tournament, it was a great event. And yeah, from this day forward, watch out because avilo will probably come back like a beast - and that goes for you IG guys, too. :)Alls I can say to It's Gosu is bring it!

For replays of today's event go to: http://www.itsgosu.com/ you might have to navigate around a bit, but it's worth the effort.

Also for Zyori, who's making his own way since he left Hypercrew, go to http://www.zyori.tv/

And lastly, if you're a Terran fan and like watching exciting ladder play, with great commentary and super silliness, avilo's still showing off with his nukes @ http://www.twitch.tv/avilo#/w/1606084208/2

See you guys @ the next LAN.

Another DC Area LAN Win for Avilo

Dammit! I gave away the results in the title. :D

CyberGrounds Tournament 6.0 took place today, and I think they had one of the biggest turnouts ever. Of course when I saw Avilo's name in the bracket - TiTs.Avilo? I was like, wtf?

Torenhire, who does the brackets, has had a private joke going with avilo since the last LAN. So now, Torenhire announced on TL that he is the manager of "TitsGaming" and avilo joined the team. I mean why wouldn't he join? Avilo loves playing with Tits...Gaming. Yeah, it's all in fun and that's what Starcraft should be - FUN.

This is probably the first DC LAN that I was unable to watch and I panicked a bit not knowing what was going on, but guess it's just as well. Afterwards, Avilo called me and told me I would have been biting my nails until they bled if I had been able to watch, especially the games between Luckyfool and Sonkie.

Now, why wasn't I able to watch? Because, suddenly the stream died. IPP, who usually casts the CyberGrounds tournaments, was there streaming, then took a really, really long lunch break, then came back, but shortly after that the stream died. I figured he was having problems, because there was more down time than there was casting.

It wasn't until much later I learned he walked out, because he didn't feel like casting for 30 viewers. Someone (and I won't mention names) neglected to list the event with TL, so people didn't know it was happening. :(

Nevertheless, I was a viewer as were 29 other people so, basically IPP was saying, you're not important. Boo Hiss Ipp.

When it went down, I didn't know what was going on, but I kept track of Torenhire's brackets, and especially paid close attention to Tits.Avilo. There were some well known names in the DC area that made it to the last of the BO3. There wasn't a round number in the bracket, so I don't know if that was the semifinals or not.

Sadistx was competing against vile.illusion (same guy as Revillusion)
GosuSonkie v VGAnfield
NrGLuckyFool v IXCMaestro
TiTs Avilo (glares) v Thethys

I knew Luckyfool would beat out Maestro and have to face Avilo. I just laughed when my prediction was right.

So the BO5 was Luckyfool v Avilo and Sonkie v Illusion.

It's Gosu has pretty good team members, and I was almost positive that Avilo would take Luckyfool (hey, I do pretty good with the Liquibets on TL - 9 right votes in a row; 1 wrong) and was sure that Sonkie would take Illusion. So Avilo's final game would be v Sonki. Again, I was right. :D

Avilo is a damn good Terran and has been playing for a long time so, I was confident he would take Sonkie. We talked beforehand and he sounded just as confident. After all, it was a DC area LAN, and Avilo hasn't lost one yet - except maybe the first he attended.

Once he gets in the zone, he's there, and nothing distracts him. He focuses on one thing - WINNING! But like I said, It's Gosu has pretty good players on their team and Sonkie is one of them. The fact that he's a Terran, put me at ease, because Avilo's TvT is impeccable. Next time, It's Gosu will probably send a Protoss. LOL

Around 10:30 p.m. the phone rang. Alls he said was, "3-1, I won." That's my Terran man!

So, avilo, Master of Mech, is still the undefeated champ in the DC area.

He's been competing in more online tournaments, too. Last night - and I almost forgot about Hypercrew, because they've been gone so long - he took 2nd place, losing to Ret - the infamous MLG-Columbus girlfriend thief. lol

Zyori cast that, along with Liz, because Janitor had to go to a wedding. Zyori knows avilo from the DC area LANs and knows what a nice guy he is, but he knows, too, that avilo is a fairly decent Terran. :D

Anyway, I can fall asleep now with my nails in tact. :)

Do You Have a Sense of Humor? Part II The Starcraft Community

Okay, I bitched about losing my sense of humor when it comes to government. But there's another time I lose my sense of humor and it has to do with the Starcraft community.

The other night I watched the It's Gosu stream of the Omega Divisional competition. Actually, I asked avilo to enter and he did. woohoo! I also watched the Beta and Alpha divisions that took place on Monday and Tuesday, and enjoyed them immensely.

Like I said before, the casters are great and the people in chat are so awesome cool. Well they were in the first two competitions and I certainly expected the same in Wednesday night's competition.

I get serious when avilo competes, but that's okay, I can still find the humor. Of course I want him to win, but I know, too, that he does better at LANs than he does online. People in the It's Gosu chat usually like his play style, the casters even praise his play style, whether they like it or not. Lots of the Koreans that play Terran are using the style he developed in beta, incorporating their own flare. Of course, he won't get any of the credit.

So what makes me lose my sense of humor uncontrollably? When people get dumb!

It's Gosu just signed a Korean Protoss player, who goes by the name of, HwangSin, and he was competing in Wednesday night's competition. Avilo, having made it to the semi finals, had to play HwangSin. Names don't intimidate avilo. He plays his game no matter who he's competing against.

When avilo resorts to allins they call him a "noob" a "cheeser." I, for one, like to watch a game that offers strategic plays, but in a competition you do what you have to do to win. Incontrol and other Starcraft players have allined and cheesed their way to the top and people praise 'em. When avilo does it - he's called names.

As far as I'm concerned HwangSin allined to take avilo - 2-0. Were people happy with what I call all-in games? Well it seemed like it to me. The casters jokingly said, "Avilo did win the APM - 284 to HwangSin's 160." Guess APM doesn't matter too much when it comes to SCII. Anyway, did I lose my sense of humor? I felt it fading, but it wasn't over for avilo.

As avilo and I waited to see who he'd play for third place, we talked. Two of It's Gosu team members were playing each other for the finals - One a Zerg, the other Protoss.

I know little about the game's details. I don't have to know, because I'm a spectator. What I do know are avilo's weaknesses and where he makes mistakes so, I act like a coach - one who knows the player but not the game. lol It's nothing new. Before all his games I give him pep talks and tell him to, "Remember this and don't forget that." Then before he begins, I send him off with a glhf kiss and hug and a "gOgOgo Avilo."

The stream chat was alive with 184 viewers, most of them to support teamGosu, of course. I was there, as usual, for avilo and I think a few others there had faith in him.

When wbc - Protoss won over Zerker - Zerg, I gave avilo another pep talk. Avilo took the first game and I only hoped he remembered what we talked about and didn't do anything dumb.

There were already people in chat booing Avilo and saying nasty things, just like any fan of that player's opponent would do. It hurts me because I know how hard avilo works to succeed, it doesn't bother avilo in the least. Sometimes I think the haters motivate him.

I can't remember now what he did to make me type "Avilo, dammit, I told you to watch out for that." ToweLy, one of the It's Gosu site members, who was in chat accused "us" of cheating. I was driven to tears by a 17 year old and even though Voss, the mod, corrected ToweLy, it was too late.

After that I had no sense of humor. I lost it completely. Everything said, thereafter against avilo was an attack, as far as I was concerned. Once again I was dealing with the TeamLiquid and GR mentality. Nothing was funny anymore.

Avilo lost the second game and he and wbc went into the third. Avilo's in the "zone" when he begins a competition so there's no communication with him. As I read chat I kept repeating the mantra avilo told me say, "Hater's gonna hate." I stopped talking chat and instead of reading it, focused on the game. Then suddenly avilo was gone and the haters had a field day.

"He knew he was losing and rage quit." The tears that rolled down the cheeks of my all too sensitive self turned to sobs, because I knew better. I knew all too well what happened, because it's happened so many times before. I know his situation like no one else does and it's frankly no one's business.

The casters didn't believe he rage quit and gave him time to reconnect. In the meantime, ToweLy and I were having words. I was upset knowing what Avilo was going through and then having to contend with hater's in chat. Finally, I just told ToweLy to "stfu...seriously."

I was shaking by the time avilo got back to me, which was only minutes later. As soon as I got word, I got in chat and announced that his 'puter crashed and he'll be back. I was basically called a liar by haters.

ToweLy typed something, which I'm pretty sure was directed at me about "You're a (blank) and you know it." I have no idea what the blank was and at any other time would have probably replied humorously, because what people say about me, doesn't bother me. Now if I could learn to feel that way when people attack those I love, I'd be fine. But yeah, my sense of humor was gone.

When I was sure that avilo was back in game, I logged off of It's Gosu, so, I didn't see the third game, but I think it was really nice of wbc and admin to start a new third game. Like I said before, It's Gosu has a lot of nice people, and if they weren't so Terran heavy I might suggest Avilo talk to them about a spot. (Actually I did, before I learned how Terran heavy they are) They are to Terran what Reign is to Protoss. If you're a Zerg player, It's Gosu is lacking terribly.

I was disappointed that Avilo lost 2-1, but I'm sure he lost more than concentration and focus during the third game. Avilo keeps telling me to toughen up, but when it comes to those I care about, I'm all soft heart. I cried myself to sleep - not because he came in fourth, which I think was damn good. And yesterday, I spent the day disillusioned with the gaming community so much so that I couldn't even function.

So, yeah, when people attack avilo, I lose my sense of humor. I mean it's okay for me to attack him, though. lol. And ToweLy, I'm so not a blank. hehe

What makes you lose your sense of humor? I'd like to know I'm not alone. :)

P.S. Thanks to Voss, Shakemaster and Juan (new to chat stream) for your kind words of support.

VTGaming Now Known as Reign, "Break a Leg"

This is IS IS a Rant!!!!!!

I'm ranting here, because Avilo (dumbass that he can be) "forbade" me from posting what I had to say on TeamLiquid, and seeing as that's HIS playground, I respected his wishes. However, an Italian in rage cannot be stopped altogether SHE WILL HAVE HER SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I first heard that VTGaming recruited all new players for their Reign team and was in the process of forming a pro house, I told Avilo to start looking for a new team. I wonder now if it was loyalty or effing naivety on his part to think that he wasn't going to get "screwed" royally by VTGaming.

They announced today on TeamLiquid that VT had disbanded. Now mind you, what was left of the VTGaming team (the smart ones got out fast) weren't told this in a meeting. Rather they, like all of the SC community, heard about it for the first time in a TL thread. (Except, and I'm guessing, for Future and Perfect, who probably knew because it was also announced that they would be joining Reign). How low can you get?

When Avilo was first approached by Frank to join VTGaming, I had bad feelings about it and told Avilo to think carefully before making his decision. He knew I wasn't pleased that he accepted the offer, but it's his life and I supported his decision. (There were other ways to get even with him. *evil grin)

When he first told me about the "better" team, I suggested he start looking for a new team. He insisted that management assured the remaining team members, Avilo, Mr. Bitter, GiX, Whiplash, Azz (and Future and Perfect, who were still with VT at the time) that VTGaming was going nowhere. It would be like Reign's sister team, and yes, hotel would be paid for at Anaheim. Avilo even said, VTGaming is going to have a competition and whoever wins will get paid transportation to Anaheim.

When other teams, after hearing Reign's announcement, contacted Avilo with proposals, I suggested he take them up on their offer. But he "Trusted" what VT management told him and when I laughed out loud, he basically told me he knew better. HA! I hate saying "I told you so" so I won't. But I've been around a little longer than Avilo and I know when folks are stringing you along, until they've made final decisions. Unfortunately, we live in a dog eat dog world and everyone is out for themselves.

At least he made a mature post on TeamLiquid regarding the matter. This was my post that he disallowed:

Frankly, anyone with an ounce of sense knew that the VT team was finished. If VT management had had any respect for the VT team they would have told them that from the onset.

After the announcement about Reign, A couple teams approached Avilo, and despite the fact that I told him to grab the opportunity and leave VT whilst he had a chance, (Actually, I was against him joining VT from the start) he trusted that VTGaming was being honest about keeping the old team intact. Now should we call that loyalty or naivety?

Obviously, you want the “best of the best” in a team. Hope Reign is everything everyone thinks it will be.
(If it's not, Reign management probably has another team in the works)

Best of luck to the VT team members that were screwed over. (Notice I did not wish REIGN the best of luck.) *gets out my witches manual and mixes up a brew.

Pretty nice, no? I mean I hardly showed my Italian rage at all.

Does anyone else think this was underhanded and a shit way to deal with the situation, or is it just me? Do you think Avilo will ever listen to me, and trust my gut instincts, or will he continue to disregard the wisdom of the woman in his life, who is ALWAYS right? (okay, not always - only 99.9% of the time)

Avilo Strikes Again at It's Gosu LAN in Virginia

Okay, question...What's more fun than a DC area LAN event? Duh! It's a DC LAN event hosted by It's Gosu.

Ayesee and Redmajejr (listed in alphabetical order) were kind of not on their mark in the humor department at yesterday's LAN, but you have to take into consideration the fact that that Irishman, Murphy, was yanking their chains for the major part of the event. Yep, what could go wrong, went wrong. They had problems with the bandwidth and then xSplit decided to mess with 'em. There was bad audio, there was no audio, and there was interrupted streaming. Despite all the mishaps, it was a fun night.

The people in chat - and I do mean the majority - are fun. And for once I wasn't the only girl. WooHoo! Thanks for hanging out in chat, Foxey.

Luckyfool, who didn't enter this tournament, due to "previous commitments" accused me of acting silly, (should have been sillier than usual) but it's me being the consummate entertainer. If there's no video, Ayesee and Redmaje offer the comic relief like pros, but if there's no audio people can't hear ya being funny. So, I did my best to save the day.

Fortunately, I didn't have go it alone. Chatters, like Rhonlore, Thorfan and Shakemaster, to name a few, were all too willing to help me out and because of them, It's Gosu didn't lose one viewer and even gained some. :D

Before I get into the details of the It's AVILO event, I have to say to anyone who has yet to experience the casting expertise and humor of Ayesee and Redmaje, or isn't familiar with It's Gosu, do yourselves a favor and tune in sometime. I promise you, you'll have a great time. http://www.itsgosu.com/

Okay, so it was a big disappointment that Luckyfool couldn't attend, but he assured me that he's preparing to take Avilo down at the next event. According to him, he's been studying Avilo's games from his MLG loss and the Starcraft league from North America (whose name I shall not mention, because it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth).

OMG! If Luckyfool ever wins v Avilo, I think his system might go into shock and paramedics better be on hand to resuscitate the man.

It did prove to be Avilo's night again. The only gamer, who beat him one game, in a BO3 was Deceive. When Avilo hits the DC LAN events, he becomes a total beast. He took down Cryptic 2-0 and then went on to destroy Anfield, a pretty good Protoss player, 3-0 in a BO5, sans nukes.

Of course, when Avilo's games are cast, my whole body tenses and I'm unable to breathe. Now anyone who knows Avilo, knows that his games can be long at times; therefore any silliness I'm accused of displaying can be blamed on lack of oxygen to my brain. :D

When Avilo played Anfield he came close to losing one game and anyone else might have GGd, but not Avilo. He has a way of turning games around sometimes that simply amazes me. Of course, he probably doesn't think he's ever losing.

The next BO5 was v Revillusion another Terran, who took home first place when Avilo couldn't make one of the DC LANs due to graduation. Revillusion was out for blood, but it was Avilo's win, 3-0.

Viewers sat patiently waiting for the losers bracket to complete their games to see who Avilo would have to play in the finals.

Revillusion v Hex, a zerg, were ftw, but I'm sure Revillusion was determined to win so that he could face Avilo again in the finals. So, he beat Hex and after a short break, it was Revillusion v Avilo, once again.

Unfortunately, Murphy decided it was time to rear his ugly head once more with technical issues and viewers were left without audio during the final TvT BO5. Shakemaster volunteered to cast via chat type, but Jack grabbed hold of him, rendering his brain to finger coordination dysfunctional, and cast typing was left to me. :D

I began with all the intricate details: "There's this Terran building stuff and on the other side of the map is another Terran building stuff and they both wanna kill each other, so they're gonna sneak around and see what's going on in each other's bases with the stuffs they built. Rut roh - one of the Terrans is sending Gouda and Swiss toward the other..." I think Redmaje stopped me at that point. I know, don't quit my day job. LOFL

Needless to say, Avilo remains the Starcraft champ in the DC area with a 3-0 win over Revillusion. I think this is Avilo's 7th straight DC win. Now, if I were one of guys competing, I'd suggest to the other guys that we pool our money and give it to Avilo to stay home. hehe.

It was a long, long day and I have to give credit to all the competitors, and of course, to the casters, who couldn't just leave afterwards, because they still had to break down and pack up all the equipment. LOL! "Break Down" is kind of a funny choice of words there.

As I see it, without the mishaps, It's Gosu is one of the better streams around. If, in between games, they'd pan Cyberground like Ipp does, it would make it more interesting to viewers. The only other thing that could possibly make It's Gosu better is signing Avilo. :D

Anyway, as it stands, Avilo is still the undefeated champion of the DC Starcraft community with Revillusion coming in second and Hex, third. Good Job, y'all. And thanks to all of those, who put this event together and are dedicated to making eSports the biggest thing in NA since baseball...or basketball...maybe tennis - how about, more popular than apple pie?

A great big thanks to:

It's Gosu and their newest sponsor, Steel Series
Lucky Fool for coordinating the event
Torenhire for keeping the brackets up do date
Ayesee and Redmaje for casting
Cyberground Technical Assistance...ummm okay *shrugs and laughs*
To the guys in chat, for keeping it fun
and to my Avilo for making me proud, as usual.

VT Gaming Enlists Two New Players

The other day, the manager of VT Gaming told avilo he was in. I was with him at the time and I can't express how thrilled he was. I am happy for him, because this is what he's worked for. I'm happy too that the people at VT had the good sense to make a wise decision. Avilo will definitely be an asset to their team.

Another player they enlisted is a zerg, Mr. Bitter. I had never heard of him before now, but that's not saying much because there's a lot of players of which I haven't heard.

There will always be posters on TeamLiquid that disagree with decisions other people make, VT's decision to enlist avilo is no exception. Mostly, there were congratulatory posts. Those that either aren't familiar with avilo, or just don't like him, were kind enough to send congrats to Mr. Bitter alone. Those, who are avilo haters, of course, had to have their say. And one idiot even had the audacity to mention vote hacking, perpetuating the NASL lies. I took avilo's advise and overlooked their ignorance.

Okay, so I was rooting for avilo to make this team and was as happy as he was when he got in. I'm pretty sure that not everyone on the team liked him, but the majority did and avilo has a way of burrowing into ones heart, so because most of the team members had no problem with him, he made the team.

There have been times when avilo would do or say something on TeamLiquid or GamerReplay so outrageous that I'd tell him, "No wonder people hate you for crying out loud!" Nevertheless, I supported and defended him. Behind closed doors, however, I'd criticize his - at times - immature behavior and tell him he needed a better command of the English language. "You can actually get your point across without using the 'eff' word in every other sentence."

I defended him when he raged about Zerg being imba and asked him not to post anymore YouTube rants before consulting me. LOL "Your damn shirt was wrinkled!" I kept telling him that Zerg is only imba because "You have that embedded in your subconscious. Get over it. Find a way around it. You're a good player, you can do it. Stop whining and start winning."

Again and again, I reminded him that in order to get what you want, you have to play the game. I'm not talking about Starcraft now, but life. Isn't life really a game we all play? We want something, we go after it. But in my opinion, he was going after it the wrong way. He kept telling me that I don't get it. I don't understand gamers.  I kept telling him, I understand what I see. I understand human nature.

Avilo gained the reputation of being bad mannered in game and on the forums, but I've always questioned that. He refused to GG (like a handshake after a tennis match) if the game wasn't played well by the opponent. Does that make him bad mannered? I don't think so! There are much worse mannered players in game and on forums. There's a whole thread in TL about it, and I didn't even see Avilo mentioned in the 28 pages of examples.Besides, most of his posts were to intentionally bait people and when they were dumb enough to bite, he'd sit back and have a good laugh.

Avilo has firm convictions and he adheres to them, despite the opinions of others. He fights for what he believes to be right and I can only hope he continues to do so and that VT is a team that respects his fighting spirit as much as he respects the team of which he is now a part.

I wish avilo, Mr. Bitter and VT Gaming much success.

The End of the North American Starcraft League

How dumb can ya get? Well, pretty damn dumb in my case, because I believe justice should be served using legal methods. Okay, I grew up in a home where the patriarch, a prominent business owner, tried to instill in me that the only time you turn to the law is when they're in your back pocket. Wow! Are you talkin' 'bout making offers they can't refuse? No! That's just wrong and I won't abide by that mentality - ever; although sometimes, I admit, the temptation was great. I mean you dial a number - problem solved.

As a person who prides herself on not taking life too seriously, avilo kept telling me, "You're taking this defamation of character thing too seriously. You're dealing with idiots."  OMG! He was right! I had already contacted my Chicago lawyers and they turned to their California contacts. Yep, I would not hesitate to bring suit against everyone involved.. On the other hand, it was enough for avilo to know he was innocent and that I and those who know him believed in his innocence.

Okay, so I called off the lawyers and said, "It's apparent that the people who are running the NASL have little business acumen. Maybe they're idiots, but surely the people at Uservoice aren't." Even though he gave me the go-ahead to contact them, he told me I was wasting my time. "Are you kidding? They're business people. Of course not. They're not going to get involved in harboring a criminal, or be responsible for false accusations." Avilo just laughed.

With everything that the NASL did to ruin Avilo's reputation (which, I believe was intentional) we both still wished them luck in their endeavors. The league (mostly hand-picked despite Xeris' explanation on how the 50 made the team. I mean InControl? *rolls eyes) in North America is the biggest and best thing to happen to e-sports ever. And while the organization of the NASL lacked miserably and was peppered with lies, hype, contradictions, etc. at least they were giving it the ol' college try.

I hate to admit I'm wrong, especially when it comes to avilo being right. (Don't tell him that, his ego is big enough already lol). But he was right. Uservoice could have cared less. In essence I was told by the real CEO, Richard White, that they have to protect their clients. Hmmmm? So is Athene a client of  Uservoice? He is the one, after all that hacked votes, not avilo - or anyone avilo knows. And if Athene is a client and their client is the NASL, does that mean that Athene is part of the NASL? Now I was really determined to get to the bottom of this.

Once again, I contacted Uservoice informing them that I would advise avilo to contact the Internet Crime Complaint Center, a branch of the government that handles cyber crime. His response, "Thanks for the update." lol
Avilo and I had a good laugh over that one. "And this is a CEO of a business?" That's when I realized that avilo was right. And whilst I still believe that justice is on the side of the innocent, it's the end of the NASL as far as I'm concerned. When you're dealing with people that could care less how they achieve success, there's bound to be failure in the future.

By the way, today in San Fran, not unreasonably far from the NASL and Uservoice headquarters, there's a St. Stupid Day's Parade. If you're in the area, you're bound to see some some familiar faces :D
